I wanted to tell you that I love you today.

I bought your favorite flowers, ironed my shirt and tidied the words that I was going to say.

I wanted to tell you that I love you today.

But I wonder what will happen if I said that I do?

Will you reply in kind? Will you say I love you too?

Or will you break this hopeful heart with a No, thank you?
