The misadventures of the heart and sometimes, the stomach.

Is it more important for you to know whether I am dissatisfied with my mammary glands or take forever in public bathrooms?

Does it really, truly matter whether I  do not have conventional religious viewpoints or if I am really a demanding teenager?

Should you trust me when I tell you that upon writing this resume, you would get any job your heart desires?

Would my words carry more weight if I did get friend zone’d or sleep with my best friend?

Or is it more important that through my words alone, I have managed to tug at your heartstrings despite never meeting you?

Isn’t it amazing that I, a fumbling 21 year old, could make you wonder and question?

Perhaps I’ve succeeded in getting you to laugh out  loud, or perhaps put a smile on your face after a long long day.

Perhaps I made you feel that I am someone whom you can relate to, sympathized with, worth leaving an anonymous comment for.

Isn’t that more important?

So calm your tits and hold your horses.

There is no need to worry about my sex life or body image. There is no need to have a heart to heart conversation with my parents or church elders.

Thanks for the concern though.

Instead, sit back. Relax. Read what I have to say. You need not agree nor approve.

If you don’t like what you see, you can always never come back.

But if you, seated on your swivel chair a hundred miles a way, a stranger or a close friend, upon clicking that link, feel that lump in the back of your throat or a resonance in your heart. If you sniffle a chuckle at work or in school at my lack of tits or brutal honesty, then please continue as you were.

Be a silent reader or leave comments.

Share this with a friend or plagiarize my ideas to create your own.

I think that is more important.
